HISTORY
Launched in Paul’s garage in 2005, Delta T is now widely-considered the premier commercial HVAC and plumbing equipment distributor serving southeast Texas. Providing synergistic products including fire pumps, controllers and water storage tanks, subsidiary Total Pump Solutions began serving the southeast Texas market in 2009 and now operates throughout the state of Texas. As both companies matured in their respective markets, Paul and his leadership team recognized a need to vertically integrate the manufacturing of domestic and fire water storage tanks into their core business and formed DT Fabrication in 2018.

GROWTH
The Delta T Family of Companies have experienced phenomenal growth over their 17 years. Both Delta T and TPS have been recognized five and three times respectively by the Houston Business Journal’s “FAST 100,” a list of the fastest growing companies in Houston based on year-over-year revenue growth. Delta T and TPS have also achieved a place on Inc. magazine’s “Inc. 5000” six times and three consecutive times, respectively. The Inc. 5000 list recognizes the fastest growing private companies in America. In addition, they have received countless awards for being among the top distributors in the country for various products they represent.

Located at the southwest corner of State Highway 249 and Beltway 8, Delta T, TPS and DT Fab now share a consolidated, 32,000-square-foot, state-of-the art, scalable campus. According to Paul, “Sometimes it just seems surreal. When I reflect back on our humble beginnings, I can’t help but feel a huge sense of gratitude toward our team. I truly believe that with the right people, anything is possible.”

CULTURE
The culture Paul has instilled at Delta T, TPS and DT Fab is grounded in servant leadership and customer service. Maintaining the highest ethical standards with our customers, manufacturers and employees is essential.

Over the years, Paul’s vision has remained constant: to build a thriving business based on a solid set of core values including customer focus, integrity, innovation, professionalism and community. Whether it’s bidding a job, resolving a customer’s problem, or hiring a new employee, these core values guide every decision.

Delta T’s mission statement is: to provide outstanding customer service through fair and ethical business practices, resulting in the personal and professional success of our team members. It has remained unchanged since Day One.

Paul cares deeply about his employees and fosters a fair, safe, comfortable and collaborative work environment that embodies the entrepreneurial spirit. Employees are encouraged to grow personally and professionally and are rewarded based on merit and leadership. We build our organization around efficient processes and outstanding team members. We create an environment where those who want to do well, will,” says Paul. This core culture is fundamental to the entire Delta T Family of Companies.

PHILANTHROPY
In addition to being a business leader, Paul is a firm believer in giving back to the community. He founded the Delta T/TPS Wagon Brigade which provides red wagons full of toys and gifts for families in need at Christmas. He and the Delta T Family of Companies are loyal supporters of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Bridging for Tomorrow, Finishing Touch Ministries, Hope Village Special Needs Community, and various industry-related philanthropies.

Paul is also an active member of the Leaven Exchange, a faith-based group of business leaders. “Being an entrepreneur becomes more challenging as your organization grows. It can be very isolating. I am so thankful to have a peer group of like-minded business owners to learn from and lean on,” reflects Paul.

FUTURE
Paul believes that growing the organization and increasing revenue is critical to supporting and cultivating the culture. To ensure longevity of the organization, in recent years, Paul has selected key contributors in the organization to become equity partners.

“It’s truly exciting to be girded up by such an outstanding, well-balanced leadership team who will carry the banner into the future,” says Paul.

With ambitious growth strategies in place for each of the business segments and the market verticals they serve, expectations are that the upward trends will continue for years to come.
