This summer, Delta T Equipment welcomed two interns through our 2025 Summer Internship Program: Reed Minor and Charlie Ligon.
Reed, from Houston (Jersey Village), is studying Mechatronics at Texas A&M. Charlie, from Oxford, Mississippi, is pursuing Chemical Engineering at Notre Dame. We applaud their hard work and wish them the best as they return to school this fall. We are grateful they chose to spend the summer with us—bringing fresh ideas and making meaningful contributions to our
projects and team.
The Program
Our Summer Internship Program provides hands-on experience in the HVAC and plumbing distribution industry. This year’s program included:
- Real-world project work.
- Site visits with manufacturing partners and job sites.
- Networking opportunities.
- Team-building activities.
A highlight was Reed and Charlie’s final presentation on how artificial intelligence (AI) can support estimating and project management. Their research showed how AI could save time, reduce errors, and improve efficiency—ideas that will help shape the future of our industry.
