Contrary to popular belief, Sports Authority Field may not have been the best place to watch the Houston Texans take on the Denver Broncos. In fact, the best place for last week’s Monday Night Game may have been right here in Houston at the Watch Party & Tailgate hosted by one of Houston’s leading Commercial HVAC Manufacturer Rep Firms, Delta T Equipment. Delta T, along with sister company Total Pump Solutions, hosted an action-packed Texans Monday Night Football Watch Party and Tailgate. Enormous hi-def screens, booming sound, a gigantic inflatable field goal kicking game, Cornhole boards, Giant Jengas, a Photo Booth, 3 beverage bars, a 44-foot motor coach / “VIP lounge” and mouth-watering burgers from Beck’s Prime flanked Delta T’s new Arena. According to attendee John Gray from Hamilton-Gray Wealth Management, “It was an unbelievable event! Everywhere you looked, people were engaged in fun activities and just having a great time.” To add to the excitement, fantastic prizes ranging from Yeti Coolers and authentic Jack Daniels barrels to REI outdoorsman packages and Texans tickets were given out every 30 minutes. And for the grand prize…you guessed it…2 tickets to Super Bowl LI which is being hosted right here in Houston!
Hand delivered invitations resembling an authentic NFL game ticket complete with custom-logo’d Lanyard doubled as entry to the event. Although the parking lot filled up in the first 15 minutes, Delta T’s logistics team, headed up by long-time employee Emalie Eaton, was ready. A party bus provided by Mak’s Sports Bar, which featured festive music and a disco ball, shuttled party-goers to and from a nearby overflow lot. And to top of a fun evening, guests walked away with home baked cookies and a custom T-shirt commemorating the event.
Nearly 400 people representing Houston area Engineering Firms, Mechanical Contractors, Fire/Sprinkler Contractors, General Contractors and Service Companies attended the Delta T / Total Pumps Watch Party & Tailgate. Per Delta T’s President, Paul McCarver, “With only 14 employees, we are a very small company so an event of this magnitude is no small task. But we have a phenomenal team and every single employee pitched in to make it happen. In our initial planning, we hoped maybe 100 people would attend since it was on a Monday night. We never dreamed we’d such a phenomenal turnout! It was almost like a “Who’s Who” of Houston’s Commercial HVAC industry. All I can say is never be afraid to dream big… anything is possible when you have the right people on your team. And for that, I am extremely grateful.”
